FlappyDuck Brewery is a veteran-owned craft brewery located in the heart of Mulvane, Kansas. We believe great beer is more than what’s in the glass — it’s about community, connection, and creating a space where everyone feels welcome.
Our founders, Dr. Brad Burnett and Christina Burnett, share both a military background and a passion for creating something special in their community.
Brad was born and raised in Dodge City, Kansas. After graduating high school, he joined the U.S. Army, which gave him the opportunity to travel the world and gain a deep appreciation for craftsmanship. While serving overseas, he attended a prestigious wine school in Germany, where he learned the art and science of brewing both beer and wine. Brad also holds a Doctorate in Computer Technology Management, blending technical precision with creative passion in every brew.
Christina also was raised here in Milton Kansas, served proudly in the U.S. Army and brings an outstanding background in finance to the business, ensuring the brewery is as strong behind the scenes as it is in the taproom. She’s also a huge fan of scary movies — something that just might inspire a few themed events along the way.
FlappyDuck Brewery blends traditional brewing techniques with a modern-industrial taproom design. Every detail — from our equipment to our atmosphere — is built with care, precision, and a commitment to excellence. Our taproom will be a gathering place for friends, families, and fellow beer lovers to enjoy fresh, locally brewed beer in a relaxed, welcoming environment.

Veteran-Owned – Founded by U.S. Army veteran Dr. Brad Burnett and co-owned with his wife Christina Burnett, also a proud U.S. Army veteran. Together, they bring discipline, dedication, and a world of experience into every pint.
Global Brewing Roots – Brad studied both beer and wine production at a prestigious wine school in Germany while serving overseas.
Born in Dodge City – Brad is a Kansas native who explored the world in the military and brought those flavors and ideas back home to share with his community.
Raised in Milton – Christina grew up in Milton, Kansas, served in the U.S. Army, and brings her Kansas roots, global experiences, and strong community values to the brewery.
