FlappyDuck Brewery is a veteran-owned craft brewery located in the heart of Mulvane, Kansas. We believe great beer is more than what’s in the glass — it’s about community, connection, and creating a space where everyone feels welcome.
Founded by Dr. Brad Burnett, FlappyDuck Brewery is built on a foundation of military service, craftsmanship, and a passion for creating something meaningful for the local community.
Brad was born and raised in Dodge City, Kansas. After graduating high school, he joined the U.S. Army, where he had the opportunity to travel the world and develop a deep appreciation for discipline, precision, and craftsmanship. While serving overseas, he attended a prestigious wine school in Germany, learning the art and science behind brewing both beer and wine. Brad also holds a Doctorate in Computer Technology Management, blending technical expertise with creative passion in every brew.
FlappyDuck Brewery blends traditional brewing techniques with a modern-industrial taproom design. Every detail — from the brewing equipment to the atmosphere — is built with care, precision, and a commitment to excellence. The taproom is designed to be a welcoming gathering place for friends, families, and fellow beer lovers to enjoy fresh, locally brewed beer in a relaxed, community-focused environment.
